Boone & Crockett left its original Bay View site on April 16, with the intention of being open and fully operational in its new and improved Walker’s Point bar—that’s five times larger, not even factoring in the adjoining 300-capacity performance space called “The Cooperage”—by the end of April. Not counting a special show at The Coop for Arte Para Todos last Thursday, that timeline couldn’t be met.

With hopes of the Boone & Crockett side being ready by the weekend, but some lingering uncertainties regarding an exact date, owner John Revord decided to make the most of the gorgeous weather and versatile Cooperage space by hosting a “Too Loud For Tuesday” Boone & Crockett pop-up at The Coop on May 1. The mid-week party will include tunes from Mikey Fa$tlife, cocktails (old fashioneds, Tom Collins, Gin Brambles, Sazeracs, and Boone’s famed “Camp Radler” among them), and bonfires on the property’s waterfront patio.

The party will run from 7 p.m. to close. The Cooperage will also be open on Friday, May 4 for night one of Milwaukee Psych Fest. Boone & Crockett’s true opening date is still unknown, but be sure to check back this week for updates.
