Stuff We Missed looks to other Milwaukee publications (and beyond) for, well, stuff we missed throughout the week. This week: more Milwaukee food on TV!

• In case you did the impossible and missed it, Milwaukee is front and center on the new season of Top Chef. Yes, season 21 of the long-running Bravo show was not only shot in Milwaukee and Wisconsin, but features Milwaukee chef Dan Jacobs as one of the contestants. Want to keep up with the action? And hey! If you’re looking for even MORE of Milwaukee’s fantastic food scene on television, check out Egg & Flour Chef Adam Pawlak on an upcoming episode of the Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay! Pawlak—no stranger to television—dropped the big news on Friday:

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! Hello world!!! I am extremely excited to announce I will be competing against the one and only Bobby Flay on the Food Network! Tune in on April 11th @ 8pm to see if I can make it through the 1st round and get a chance at the man himself! PLUS: There will be some incredible celebrity judges and personalities on my episode…don’t miss it!

Pawlak’s episode is titled “Raise The Steaks.” A synopsis reads: “Michael Symon and comedian Chris Redd leave Bobby Flay in tears while chefs Adam Pawlak and Page Pressley impress with their takes on a classic.” [OnMilwaukee]

• More food news! Café Benelux (346 N. Broadway) will reopen April 3. The Third Ward eatery has been closed since February 26 for “major renovations.” Those renovations include “a completely reimagined bar with 50% more seating, additional booths, bigger and better TV screens, a new and improved host stand area, and operational improvements to optimize service for guests.” [Milwaukee Business Journal]

• [Ernie von Schledorn voice] Who do you know wants to reopen Fox-Bay Cinema in Whitefish Bay? [Milwaukee Business Journal]

• A new Starbucks might open on the East Side. OH MY GAAAAAAAAAAD! [Milwaukee Business Journal]
