Fans of the old Onion Beer Society meetings in Milwaukee will find the event’s format familiar:
1. You RSVP via Facebook by saying you’re “Going” to this event. (“Interested” won’t cut it.)
2. You arrive and get your hand stamped (again, only if you RSVP).
3. You enjoy complimentary Lakefront Brewery beer from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. or until the keg is gone (whichever comes first).
4. You have a great night and get home responsibly.
Our first meeting will take place at Cactus Club on Thursday, October 20. We will tap a keg of Lakefront’s new SMaSH Ale at 7 p.m. Everyone with a hand stamp will receive complimentary SMaSH while supplies last.
Yes, the Packers-Bears game will be on both of the bar’s huge flatscreens during this Beer Club event. Cactus also offers bleacher seating and touchdown shots. Yes, you should stick around Cactus Cub to check out the Garrett Klahn and Rx Drugs show after the Beer Club.
