In this installment of our bi-weekly Food/Drink Roundup: Koppa’s!
• If you haven’t heard the news, Koppa’s Fulbeli Deli (1940 N. Farwell Ave.) is good again! New owners have been gradually bringing the beloved but fallen-on-hard-times East Side deli/grocery store/liquor store back to its former glory. How? By stocking the shelves, making good sandwiches, and just generally cleaning the joint up. Oh, and by adding a new menu of Indian food!

We recently tried a Namaste Bowl ($12.99), and oh buddy, it was terrific. Nothing fancy, but terrific nonetheless. We ate it in a nearby park, which made the whole experience even better.

But what about that giant Atari game station? Don’t worry! It’s been moved to another part of the store, and we’re told it’ll be fully functional again soon. The days of waiting for a Saturn sandwich (which are good again, too) while playing Adventure will return!
