Last summer, Colectivo broke ground on a cafe in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. The location was the Milwaukee-based coffee roaster’s 17th shop and, more notably, the business’ first out-of-state storefront. By the time that cafe was set to open this spring, Colectivo reportedly had its sights set on opening two more Chicago locations in the near future.

According to DNAinfo, Colectivo’s expansion will officially continue into the city’s Logan Square neighborhood, when the rapidly-growing roaster opens its second Chicago location this fall. The article states Colectivo recently obtained permits to renovate the ground floor of the MiCa Towers, which are located at 2261 N. Milwaukee Ave. If all goes as planned, the second Colectivo will open “October-ish.”

Rejoice, Milwaukee expats now living in Chicago. Soon, Colectivo will be even easier for you to get.
