The 2026 Milwaukee Film Festival is set to take over the screens of the Oriental and Downer theaters April 16-30. You can purchase advance ticket packages and passes NOW. You can catch up on our MFF26 coverage HERE. Oh, and you can watch a new episode of Milwaukee Film’s Popped Ones, featuring me, Matt, below!
Popped Ones finds local luminaries (and me) sitting down with Milwaukee Film Social Media & Digital Coordinator Jolee Mallmann and chatting about films, Milwaukee, and their careers—all while eating popcorn and trying to guess various popcorn flavors. For my special MFF26 episode, I talked about Milwaukee Record, our long and proud sponsorship of MFF’s Cinema Hooligante program, watching The Human Centipede at The Hotel Foster, getting canned from The Onion back in the day, and more. I wore a Twin Peaks shirt and my hair looked okay.
As for my popcorn flavor guesses, well, you’ll have to watch and see. Enjoy! (And seriously, thanks to Jolee, Robyn Ehrlich, and everyone else at Milwaukee Film for having me on. It was an honor and a blast!)
Advance ticket packages and passes to MFF26 are available NOW. Milwaukee Film Members can buy individual film tickets online beginning April 6. General audiences can do the same beginning April 8. An in-person box office will open at the Oriental Theatre on April 10.
Print copies of the full program will be available beginning April 2, following a free Friends & Family Preview Night at the Oriental Theatre at 6:30 p.m.
