Following an abbreviated 2020 edition that featured fewer shows, far smaller audiences, a more localized lineup, and many more protective face coverings than ever before, Milwaukee Comedy Festival is looking to get back to something at least resembling normal in 2021. This year’s festival is scheduled to return to The Laughing Tap (and other area venues TBA) October 3-10.

While the full lineup and the entire list of shows isn’t known quite yet, the state’s largest and longest-running comedy festival has been treating folks to occasional headliner announcements this summer. Last month, Milwaukee Comedy Festival announced the incomparable Neil Hamburger as the event’s October 9 headliner. As if that wasn’t already appealing enough, they chased that announcement this week by naming veteran comedian Myq Kaplan the 15th annual fest’s October 8 headliner. Over the course of his lengthy comedic career, Kaplan has performed on pretty much every late night show there is, released two stand-up specials, and is fresh off the release of one of well-received comedy album called Vegan Mind Meld.

Tickets to both shows are available now! Stay tuned for more Milwaukee Comedy Festival lineup announcements as the festival approaches. In the meantime, get ready to keep your calendar clear and load up on laughs from October 3-10.
