Last May, we told you Milwaukee drag superstar, former RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars champion, accomplished musician, makeup magnate, and This Is It! co-owner Trixie Mattel would be getting her very own TV show. The Discovery+ series—called Trixie Motel, naturally—finds Mattel and her boyfriend David turning “a rundown motel in Palm Springs, California, into the ultimate drag paradise.”
Just shy of a year removed from that announcement, we’re pleased to report the series now has a premiere date. You can watch the first episode of Trixie Motel on Discovery+ on Friday, June 3. Between the great concept, the celebrity guests that have been promised, and the presence of Trixie Mattel, we have a feeling this is going to be good.
