For the last eight years, the Milwaukee Winter Farmers Market has set up shop in the annex of the Mitchell Park Domes. But this year’s market, set to run on Saturdays from November 6, 2021 through April 9, 2022, will take place at the Deer District outside Fiserv Forum.
Says Jennifer Casey, executive director of the group that organizes the market, Fondy:
“Fondy’s entire board and staff are thrilled about the Milwaukee Winter Farmers Market’s new location. We believe moving the market to GATHER at Deer District will allow our vendors to reach more customers. We have greatly valued our long-time partnership with Milwaukee County at the Dome’s Annex over the years. While that venue is no longer an option for us, we feel this led us down a path to a location that will better allow us to achieve our mission to increase access to healthy, local food and economic opportunity in Greater Milwaukee.”
The first two markets of the season (November 6 and 13) will take place outdoors at The Beer Garden in the Deer District. The rest of the markets will take place inside GATHER, the event space above Good City Brewing.

Milwaukee Winter Farmers Market to run November 6, 2021 – April 9, 2022
MILWAUKEE (October 21, 2021) – The 13th season of the Milwaukee Winter Farmers Market (MWFM) begins Saturday, November 6 in GATHER at Deer District. It’s the same great market in a new location with new times.
The MWFM will run November 6, 2021 to April 9, 2022 on Saturdays from 8 – 11:30 a.m. in GATHER located at 333 W Juneau Avenue, Suite B, Milwaukee, WI 53203. The first two markets of the season (November 6 and 13) will be outdoor at The Beer Garden in Deer District. Customers will still find many of their favorite farmers and producers at the market this year in one of Milwaukee’s exciting new destination places.

Customers will have plenty of options for parking and getting to the market. The Deer District offers parking in the 5th Street Parking Structure (1215 N. 5th Street) and Highland Parking Structure (1030 N. 6th Street). Street Parking is available around Deer District. Ride sharing and shuttle drop-off is located right off Juneau. Milwaukee County Transit bus routes, including the 80 and 19, service the neighborhood.
COVID remains a concern in our region, therefore Fondy is currently updating the MWFM’s COVID Safe Operating Plan for the new location.
