At long last, spring has finally sprung. While we’re still bracing ourselves for the faint possibility of one more blizzard, we’re slowly beginning to believe the weather in Milwaukee is going to stay nice for a few months before we repeat the soul-crushing pattern all over again. With the official start of summer just over a week away, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate the approach of the new season than a great local skate video.

Though it was released a few months back, we were recently tipped off to the existence of a full-length Milwaukee skate video called “High Strangeness.” The video was shot last year and earlier this year “when the snow wasn’t on the ground” by a Milwaukee-based skater, photographer, and videographer named Patrick “Pizzy” Forster, who captured footage of some of his contemporaries cruising around Milwaukee, as well as Madison, Chicago, New York, and Nashville.

The roughly 27-minute video—Forster’s debut—features Nick Mistele, Sean Hanely, Vince Stranc, Max Murphy, Drew Rickaby, and more. What else is there to say? It’s awesome and you should watch it immediately. You can do so below.
