Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we—with generous sponsorship from Skilos, A Family Pet Store—plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: a laid back little boy called Iori.

Iori (pronounced I-or-e) is a laid back kind of guy who isn’t demanding of affection or attention—although he totally enjoys it. He likes being held and cuddled and has a great purr. Exploring and playing with a wide variety of toys are definitely a must and are greatly appreciated by this little fella.

This sweet boy who isn’t as assertive as some of the other adoptable kittens in his foster home, so he tends to play by himself. He is friendly, not a bit shy, and very curious to see what’s around the next corner. He would likely do well in a home with a chill adult resident feline.

He would do best in a home in which he doesn’t have to compete with big personalities and can show off what a sweet, handsome, and fun boy he truly is.
