Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we—with generous sponsorship from Skilos, A Family Pet Store—plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: bonded sisters Trinidad and Bali.
Meet Bali and Trinidad, bonded sisters who are looking for a loving home together. Bali is an impeccable, gorgeous tuxedo girl with a winning mustache marking. She is super curious and always wants to know what you’re up to.
She loves playing with her sister, Trinidad, and chasing after wand toys from any human who’s willing. She’s been given lots of opportunities to warm up to being pet, but the deal is simply not for her. She loves taking Churu treats from your hands and hanging out nearby while you watch movies. Bali is a very clever girl and loves solving treat puzzles.
Trinidad was the first of her litter to try out giving humans a chance. She looooves pets (on her terms) and chasing after toys. Her and her sister, Bali, have the time of their lives running around chasing each other and snuggling together afterwards. One of her eyes has scar tissue over it which gives her a unique look, but it doesn’t slow her down or give her any issues. She has adorable spots on some of her back toes, and she’s always the first to greet humans when the door is opened. Trinidad will only continue to bloom as a gentle, loving kitty.
