This past June, thousands of fans gathered in South Milwaukee to witness the unveiling of a life-sized bronze statue of local wrestling legend Reggie “Da Crusher” Lisowski. It was awesome. This past August, a group of complete shit heads (one with a SICK “Milwaukee” face tattoo) vandalized the statue, causing $1,200 in damage. It was not awesome.

Happily, the damage has been repaired and two of the vandals have been arrested and charged. The man who led the drive to build the statue, Chris Smith, had this to say about the incident:

“I also want to thank the South Milwaukee Police Department for their hard work in bringing these turkeynecks to justice. Da Crusher Foundation will aggressively pursue criminal charges against any person who attempts to damage or deface the statue. The statue, like the man himself, will stand strong.”

Turkeynecks, complete shit heads, whatever. Here’s a brief video-clip history of other Milwaukee-area landmarks (and one Donald Trump billboard) that were vandalized by turkeynecks.
