In case you missed it, Milwaukee Record has been hosting WNBA watch parties this season. Once a month since May, we’ve taken over Cactus Club to watch a game, eat some pizza, enjoy a free halftime performance from a local band or comedian, drink some discounted beverages, hear commercial break tunes curated by a DJ, and give away raffle prizes.
Since they have been so much fun so far and the WNBA playoffs have now begun, we figured we’d do it one more time in 2026. Join us at Cactus Club on Saturday, October 17 for the sixth and final watch party of the season as we tune in to Game 1 of the Finals. Tip off is at 2:30 p.m. Obviously, we aren’t sure of who will be playing yet, but here’s what we do know…
As always, Cactus Club will be offering specials on Pacifico and WYNK for the duration of the game and each purchase of either brand will give you a chance to win prizes in a raffle after the third quarter. Classic Slice will once again provide free pizza (while supplies last). A DJ will play music during commercial breaks. The game will be shown—with sound on!—on both of the bar’s TVs and on a projector above the stage. Speaking of the stage, Milwaukee rapper Shle Berry will take the stage and treat attendees to a performance at halftime.
