Hope this is fine to post, but I wanted to share MKE Shows for those unaware. It's a centralized calendar of a lot of shows that are happening in the area. Been running for just over a year now and have been working to make it as all encompassing and complete as possible. Anyone can add a submit a show, so if you are playing soon, or if you notice a show is missing, you can send it in via the Add Event button. Also you can follow on Bluesky, Instagram, or the Fediverse to find out when new shows are added.
Totally fine to post, and great job on the site! The more sites/boards/etc. that promo local shows the better!
I agree. Also great to have these resources decentralized and/or not relying on social media to know what's going on.
Also, shout out to the Italian hacktivists that developed the code for it and made it available to all.
Agree that off-corporate-social-media is preferred. That’s why I’m here in this comment section.
