Anybody see anything good yet? Ueck was commendable! Looking forward, as always, to the MIDNIGHT shorts!

My Brother's Killer is my favorite so far and I was surprised by how thoroughly packed the theater was.  True crime girlies are guaranteed to enjoy.

Both the early showings of A Useful Ghost sold out before I grabbed tickets so now I am forced to make the terrible decision between Power Ballad and A Useful Ghost on closing night.

@scrunchi Thanks! I'm gonna see A Useful Ghost tonight at the Downer, and My Brother's Killer on Wednesday.

Also: Thanks for playing along again this year! Good luck!

Highly recommend not missing tomorrow night's final showing of Blue Heron. Just brace for emotional impact. Really, really great stuff.

Just got out of Nuisance Bear and was really mesmerized by that as well. If the score sounds familiar, it's the White Lotus composer!

@scrunchi I know it's not the same as the theater but A Useful Ghost is on Prime Video if you don't want to have to miss Power Ballad!

I really enjoyed The Python Hunt! And Flush was definitely an experience.

@rasterweb i did i did! and given that it was in my wedding vows to teach my now-husband about Fugazi 12 years ago (yes i showed them Instrument at some point but it has been a hot minute) a fine time was had by all. Every year we say we're gonna see more stuff at the film festival and i think this has inspired us to.
