The Hop Announces Holiday Hours for Christmas and New Year’s
Streetcar to feature extended service New Year’s Eve; two upcoming Holidays on The Hop dates remain featuring live music and free holiday cookies
Milwaukee – As always, The Hop, presented by Potawatomi Casino | Hotel, will operate every day throughout the holiday season — including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The streetcar will feature expanded service on New Year’s Eve, with vehicles operating along the combined F-Line route, in which all cars serve all stations, including the Lakefront. Service will also be extended until 1 a.m. to accommodate riders celebrating at the numerous great bars and restaurants along the route.
To fully experience the magic of the holiday season in Milwaukee, residents and downtown visitors alike are encouraged to also check out Holidays on The Hop, featuring live holiday music and holiday cookie giveaways right on board the streetcar. Two upcoming Holidays on The Hop dates remain, with local jazz musician JL Russell performing jazz renditions of holiday classics on Sunday, Dec. 14, and Milwaukee recording artist Sarah Fierek performing her holiday originals on Sunday, Dec. 21. Both events run from 4-6 p.m. and include free holiday cookies generously provided by Baird Center. • Sunday, Dec. 14 – Holidays on The Hop event (4-6 p.m.)
• Sunday, Dec. 21 – Holidays on The Hop event (4-6 p.m.)
• Wednesday, Dec. 24 – Sunday schedule in effect (7 a.m. – 10 p.m.)
• Thursday, Dec. 25 – Sunday schedule in effect (7 a.m. – 10 p.m.)
• Wednesday, Dec. 31 – Saturday F-Line schedule in effect (7 a.m. – 1 a.m. with all streetcars serving all stations)
• Thursday, Jan. 1 – Sunday schedule in effect (7 a.m. – 10 p.m.)
