Crossroads Collective Welcomes New Vendors, and Bids Farewell to Counter Day Bar
Crossroads Collective is excited to announce the addition of two new vendors, Kawa Ramen & Sushi and 4 All My Dogs, to its East Side food hall. Alongside these developments, the food hall will be saying goodbye to The Counter Day Bar, the non-alcoholic cocktail pop-up, which opened earlier this year.
Starting July 20th, Kawa Ramen & Sushi will offer their menu of sushi, ramen and appetizers inside Crossroads Collective, in the stall which formerly housed Egg & Flour. Following an unfortunate fire incident on June 6th, which rendered their own kitchen and restaurant on N. Murray St. temporarily unusable, Kawa Ramen & Sushi will operate inside Crossroads Collective for the next six months while their repairs are underway.
In addition to Kawa Ramen & Sushi, Crossroads Collective will welcome a new pop-up vendor, 4 All My Dogs, to the food hall’s Corner Pop-Up Booth. From July 19th to August 31st, visitors can enjoy both vegan and non-vegan Korean Corn Dogs and tasty fried sides. Kamal Shkoukani, the restaurateur behind the new pop-up concept, is no stranger to food halls. Previously, he operated multiple ghost kitchens out of Paper Table Food Hall, and Shkoukani plans to open his own food hall, The Gallery Food Hall later this summer.
Reflecting on their time at Crossroads Collective, Zoe Lomenzo, General Manager of The Counter Day Bar, expressed gratitude, stating, “These past few months at The Counter have been transformative. We’ve learned so much about the art of making cocktails and building connections. We’re thankful to be a part of this project, the city, and the non-alcoholic movement.”
Although The Counter Day Bar will be bidding farewell to their stall at Crossroads Collective, they will continue to provide their non-alcoholic cocktail experience with a new concept launching this August, with pop-ups on Friday evenings in Ivanhoe Plaza and weekend mornings outside Uncle Wolfie’s Breakfast Tavern.
“Crossroads Collective remains committed to providing exciting and diverse experiences inside, and outside, our food hall,” says Paige Hammond, General Manager “We’re excited for Milwaukeeans to experience what’s new here.”
Crossroads Collective, located at 2238 N. Farwell Ave, is currently home to six independently owned restaurants including Scratch Ice Cream, Atwood HWY BBQ, Dia Bom, Nute’s Cafe, The Counter Day Bar and Brew’d Burger; and The Pharmacy Bar.
