Those of you who have somehow missed the first 111 (and counting) episodes might be happy to learn that Milwaukee Record has its very own podcast. Yes, since early 2015, we’ve been gracing iTunes, Stitcher, and SoundCloud with installments of “On The Record.” The informal podcast finds us engaging in long-form discussions with the likes of suburban mayors, adult film stars, influential musicians, professional athletes, notable comedians, and a variety of other characters that help make Milwaukee a special place.

Occasionally, we decide to bring the show to the public by booking variety shows at bars or other performance venues that we, fittingly, call “On The Record Live.” We strive to offer something for all tastes, with a blend of music, comedy, and general interest guests. Our next show is no different, and you’re invited. Join us at Mojo Dojo (inside Urban Harvest Brewing Company) on Thursday, November 9 for another On The Record Live.

Guests include Milwaukee writer Caleb Westphal, who will be fresh off his cameo in the documentary, We’re Here For A Fish Fry, and just days removed from eating his 200th consecutive Friday fish fry. Liz Smith and Kari Houghtaling will also be on hand to talk about their shot-for-shot Home Alone remake, Abode Solo. Husband and wife synth-pop duo Golden Coins will play a rare live outing before discussing their ongoing attempt to adopt a child. If that’s not enough, we also have a few surprises in store.

Advance tickets cost just $3 (or $5 at the door). See you there!
