If you’ve been paying attention to Milwaukee music as of late, you’ve been paying attention to B-Free. As singer for the ever-busy, genre-defying Foreign Goods, B-Free (a.k.a. Britney Freeman-Farr) has played countless club shows, festivals, and benefits—many during this summer alone. Now, the singer/songwriter/producer is adding “director” to her resume with the release of a music video for “No More.”
Shot in Chicago, the clip features B-Free grappling with an abusive relationship and deciding enough is enough. (The male counterpart of the relationship is played by husband and Foreign Goods keyboardist Quinten Farr.) “I asked myself what would make me leave, the breaking point,” B-Free says in a press release.
As for the song, it’s the first track from B-Free’s upcoming Ode 2 A Luv Affair, set for a digital release September 26, with a release show to follow at Company Brewing October 1. Until then, watch the video for “No More” below.
