In case you missed it, legendary Milwaukee power-pop band Trolley has a new album coming out this fall. A Carnival Of Grey And White is scheduled to drop on October 3. Not only will it celebrate the group’s 30th anniversary, but it will serve as a long-in-the-works tribute to singer Mike Perotto, who passed away in 2021 at the age of 47.

Last month, Trolley teased A Carnival Of Grey And White with the lovely title track. Now, a second single has been released: “As Long As I Can Find You.” Bassist Terry Hackbarth takes the lead vocal here, and Testa Rosa’s Betty Blexrud-Strigens drops in for the bridge. (The incomparable Jon “Taco” Phillip guests on drums.) It’s another sparkling, ’60s-inspired head-bopper, full of 12-string guitar lines and hooks as sticky-sweet as they are sharp. Dig in!
