And the Summerfest 2026 announcements keep on comin’! Today, none other than hip-hop legends The Roots were revealed as BMO Pavilion headliners. Black Thought, Questlove, and company will play the outdoor venue on Thursday, June 25.
Reserved-seating tickets go on sale Friday, January 30 at 10 a.m. via Summerfest.com, Ticketmaster.com, or in person at the Summerfest Box Office. Tickets include day-of admission to Summerfest.
And yes, “concerts at the BMO Pavilion during Summerfest will once again offer seating options for all evening headlining performances,” explains Summerfest. “Fans will have the choice of reserved seats available for purchase or free general admission seating on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the show with a Summerfest ticket.”
The Roots join an impressive list of previously announced Summerfest 2026 headliners. Post Malone! Ed Sheeran! Jelly Roll! Not one but TWO “kick-off” concerts from Garth Brooks! David Lee Roth?
Summerfest 2026 is set to run June 18-20, June 25-27, and July 2-4. (Yep, it’s the same Thursday-Saturday deal.) A total of 602,231 folks attended Summerfest 2025—an approximate 8% increase from 2024.
