Hot on the heels of the announcement of a two-night Garth Brooks kickoff bonanza, Summerfest announced Thursday morning that Ed Sheeran will headline the fest on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Sheeran will play the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com or in person at the American Family Insurance Box Office.

Fans can register now at EdSheeran.com for early access to tickets, with presale registrations powered by Seated. Registered fans will receive a unique one-time code before the Artist Presale begins on Tuesday, September 23 at 9am local time. Registration is free, but it does not guarantee tickets. Sheeran’s Summerfest show is part of the North American leg of his LOOP Tour. His latest album, Play, was released last week.
Summerfest 2026 is set to run June 18-20, June 25-27, and July 2-4. (Yep, it’s the same Thursday-Saturday deal.) A total of 602,231 folks attended Summerfest 2025—an approximate 8% increase from 2024.
