Blame it all on my roots overwhelming demand, but country superstar Garth Brooks has added a SECOND Summerfest “kick-off” concert to his itinerary. The first show, announced earlier this week, will take place at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater Wednesday, June 17, 2026—a day before the first official day of Summerfest. The NEW show, announced late Thursday night, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, also at AmFam Amphitheater.

Tickets are available for both shows; they go on sale Friday, September 12, at 10 a.m. at Summerfest.com, Ticketmaster.com, or in person at AmFam Amphitheater. Tickets include admission to Summerfest 2026, good for any day of the festival.

And don’t forget the official pre-party to the pre-Summerfest shows! According to a press release, “ticket holders are also invited to join the OFFICIAL SUMMERFEST GARTH BROOKS PRE-PARTY, inside the South Gate of Henry Maier Festival Park, with live entertainment, food, beverages, specialty cocktails, and more. Additional details will be announced at a later date.”

These will be Brooks’ first Summerfest shows ever, and his first Milwaukee shows in over a decade. Summerfest 2026 will run June 18-20, June 25-27, and July 2-4. (Yep, it]s the same Thursday-Saturday deal.)
