And the Summerfest headliners just keep on comin’. Well, in this case, a BMO Pavilion Summerfest headliner, but still. (Also: When did they drop “Harris” from BMO Harris Pavilion? How did we miss that?)

Anyway, the trusty ol’ Avett Brothers will headline the BMO Pavilion on Friday, June 23, during Summerfest. The group last played the Big Gig in 2019. “This is the first of nine headlining artists to be announced at the BMO Pavilion during Summerfest,” says Summerfest, so stay tuned. Oh, and expect another BMO Pavilion headliner announcement today. (UPDATE: It’s Earth, Wind & Fire.)

And yes, “during Summerfest, concerts at the BMO Pavilion will once again offer seating options for all evening headlining performances, giving fans the choice of reserved seats available for purchase or free general admission seating on a first-come, first-served basis.”

Tickets for reserved seats go on sale Friday, February 24 at 10 a.m. at Summerfest.com, Ticketmaster.com, or in person at the Summerfest Box Office. Tickets include admission to Summerfest the day of the performance.

Summerfest 2023 will once again take place over three consecutive Thursday-Saturday blocks: June 22-24, June 29-July 1, and July 6-8. Additional headliners like Dave Matthews Band, Zac Brown Band, Imagine Dragons, ODESZA, James Taylor and Sheryl Crow, Eric Church, and Johnsonville brats have already been announced.
