Believe it or not, Arte Para Todos begins in a week. The third annual city-wide benefit for Milwaukee school art programs will bring an awesome mix of about 100 combined musical acts to 25 venues in five neighborhoods over the course of four days (April 27-30). The ambitious event has raised close to $40,000 in its first two years, and they look add to that sum considerably in year three. In short, it’s going to be the best.
If the lineup itself doesn’t have you excited yet, maybe the new Arte Para Todos compilation will do the trick. The 41-song comp features songs from close to half the bands, rappers, and solo artists taking part in Arte’s 2017 iteration. In addition to standout singles from recent releases from the likes of Midnight Reruns, Gauss, Caley Conway, and Vincent VanGreat, and Paper Holland, the digital comp also includes previously-unreleased tracks from Zed Kenzo, WC Tank, Lorde Fredd33, Fox Face, Guerilla Ghost, and many more.
