Milwaukee is chock full of things to do, but only a handful of Milwaukee events are worthy of the lofty honor of “Record Recommended” (patent pending). Here are our recommendations for October 26 – November 1, 2026.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 26

2026 World Series @ various locations (definitely October 26 and 27; maybe October 28, 30, and 31)
Your Milwaukee Brewers travel to Florida to face the Tampa Bay Rays in Games 3, 4, and (if needed) 5 of the 2026 World Series. The action would return to Milwaukee if Games 6 and 7 were needed. But since the Brewers are already up 2-0 in the series, they could win the whole fu**ing thing by Tuesday. So yeah, they should do that! GO BREWERS!

All Them Witches + Emma Ruth Rundle @ Turner Hall Ballroom
“You’ll find All Them Witches on the outskirts. This collective of creative outliers have never followed a pre-trodden path or comfortably fit into an existing scene or style. Instead, the band resides at an elusive crossroads where clouds of slow-burning meditative distortion soak up strains of stratospheric psychedelia, out-of-body blues, and thundering no-frills hard rock.”

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27

Old Crow Medicine Show + The Steel Wheels @ The Pabst Theater
“Old Crow Medicine Show got their start busking on street corners in 1998, from New York state and up through Canada, winning audiences along the way with their boundless energy and spirit. They eventually found themselves in Boone, North Carolina where they caught the attention of folk icon Doc Watson while playing in front of a pharmacy. He invited the band to play at his festival, MerleFest, and the rest is history. It’s been over twenty years since these humble beginnings.”

Nosferatu Undead @ Shank Hall
“This unique show features a live band performing an original immersive prog rock soundtrack for the 1922 classic silent horror Nosferatu, played in sync with the movie. Two additional screens provide onstage guest performances from some of the biggest names in classic and progressive rock. The live band is joined by special video guests including Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Bumblefoot (Guns n’ Roses) and Arthur Brown (Crazy World of Arthur Brown) throughout the show.”

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28

David Lynch Pop Up & Art Show @ Sugar Maple (through November 1)
COOPER, it’s time to fix your heart and get to the Sugar Maple this week and weekend for a David Lynch Pop Up & Art Show. Expect MASSIVE, MASSIVE QUANTITIES of themed local art, themed cocktails, and Lynch-inspired decor, music, and visuals. SWEETHEART, OUR SOCKS ARE ON FIRE!

Blue October @ The Pabst Theater
“Blue October, the Houston-born, San Marcos, Texas-based alternative rock band, has become a beacon of emotional transparency and artistic transformation. Led by Justin Furstenfeld (vocals, guitar, songwriter) and joined by Jeremy Furstenfeld (drums, percussion), Ryan Delahoussaye (violin, mandolin, piano, backing vocals), Matt Noveskey (bass guitar, backing vocals), the multi-platinum group is known for their deeply personal lyrics, cinematic soundscapes, and electrifying live performances.”

Trash Kickers + Home Going, Eric Blowtorch @ Cactus Club

The Hissy Kits: Fur Fright’s Sake @ MKeUltra (early and late shows, sold out)

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29

Shakey Graves + Wild Pink @ Turner Hall Ballroom
“Across his career, Shakey Graves—a.k.a. the performance moniker of Austin, Texas-born Alejandro Rose-Garcia—has intentionally created thrilling musical adventures tailored to each fan: burning CDs and putting them in personalized decorated bags; building intricate scavenger hunts that send fans in search of unique tapes; and Bandcamp-exclusive releases. In 2024 Rose-Garcia celebrated the ten year anniversary of his And The War Came album with a special 10 Year Anniversary Edition release featuring never before heard demos and b-sides from the recording process and inviting fans to enter the long-since abandoned Music House. His story continues to unfold, but Shakey Graves Is Still A Gentleman From Texas.”

Rehash + The Flooks, Known Moons @ Vivarium
“Rehash is an indie-rock band from South Florida that began with two high schoolers making music in their bedrooms. In June 2023, they wrote and recorded their self-titled debut album Rehash, cementing themselves as one of the most exciting emerging acts on the East Coast. To date, everything has been written, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by the band. Their latest project mock has been a favorite of fans since its release in June of 2025.”

Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country: Donato’s Inferno @ The Pabst Theater (also October 31)
“There are a lot of musical influences and sources that Daniel Donato has drawn on during his career and that inform Reflector (Retrace Music), the Nashville guitarist-singer-songwriter-band leader’s first all-original album. But within those Donato has carved out a unique and individualized spot for himself, one that speaks to the deep American music heritage that inspires him—and that he’s pushing towards the future with inspired, intentional vigor. He calls it Cosmic Country, a moniker that’s both self-descriptive and a statement of purpose. It’s an organic rock band aesthetic with plenty of roadhouse twang, a showcase for Donato’s instrumental virtuosity and facility for melodically infectious songcraft. Bridging Nashville and the Great West, Kentucky and mid-’60s northern California, tie-dye and plaid, it’s a world of his own, and wide world of musical adventure at that.”
