We’re just three days into the year and it’s already been made abundantly clear 2018 is going to be better than 2017 was. How can we be so certain? That’s simple. You see, Cactus Club just announced Hot Snakes will be playing at the Bay View bar roughly 10 weeks from now.

The San Diego post-hardcore band put out three outstanding and timeless records from 2000-2004, then sadly called it quits in 2005. Fortunately, Hot Snakes reunited in 2011 to play some shows and tour sparingly, though Chicago is pretty much the closest they came to returning to Milwaukee to this point.

With Sub Pop set to reissue those three aforementioned albums later this month, the band will embark on an extended tour, including a stop at Cactus Club on Thursday, March 15. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 5 at noon CST. They cost $23 in advance.

What more needs to be said? Hot Snakes are coming to Milwaukee in March and it’s going to be awesome.
