As Milwaukee Record enters its third week of existence (practically puberty in Internet years), we feel it’s high time we give back to the city we call home. And what better way to do that than by having a launch party Friday, May 9 at the Cactus Club? Our definition of “launch” may be fuzzy, but our good intentions are not.
The Fatty Acids, Midnight Reruns, and Soul Low will be on hand for all your musical needs, representing #3, #16, and #7 on our list of the 50 best Milwaukee albums of the 2010s (so far), respectively. Stickers, buttons, and other Milwaukee Record stuff will be on hand for all your purchasing needs. There’ll be a few surprises, too, so make sure to postpone your Friday night Dateline NBC viewing party and stop by the Cactus Club. Do it for us. Do it for the bands. Do it for you.
