For 15 consecutive years, Bay View Neighborhood Association’s Chill On The Hill brought music to Humboldt Park’s band chalet every Tuesday between the beginning of June and the end of August. After initially postponing its 16th season of live music last summer, Chill organizers eventually made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 shows on account of the COVID-19 crisis.

After a year away, we’re pleased to report Chill On The Hill will be returning to the Humboldt Park bandshell this summer. Chill On The Hill organizers announced the 2021 return on Facebook this morning.

“We have been anxiously waiting for Chill On The Hill to make its return, and we are excited to present many of the local bands that we had previously booked for 2020,” said Patty Thompson, Executive Producer of Chill on the Hill. “Our neighbors need this kind of community connection more than ever, and this event provides the space and place to do that.”

The statement also included the full 2021 lineup. In order of appearance, here’s who will be playing Chill On The Hill on Tuesday evenings between July 13 and September 14. (Music begins at 6:30 p.m._
