Are you looking to start 2024 on a sober note? Planning to make a lasting lifestyle change? Hoping to put a pause on partying after the holidays? Interested in sampling a wide range of products in the rapidly-growing and ever-evolving market of non-alcoholic drinks? If you answered yes to any of those questions, we have just the event for you. Actually, we should say we have just the EVENTS for you!

On Saturday, January 6 from noon to 4 p.m., Milwaukee Record will host the third annual N/A Day at The Cooperage. The “Dry January Beverage Festival”—which is sponsored by Athletic Brewing Company, Clausthaler, Liquid Death, Gruber Law Offices, and WMSE—will give people an opportunity to enjoy unlimited samples of more than 50 products in the wide-ranging, ever-evolving, and rapidly-growing non-alcoholic drink market. WMSE’s own Christreater will DJ the event.

The 2024 N/A Day lineup includes non-alcoholic beer and seltzer, kombucha, mocktails, non-alcoholic wine and spirits, tonics, craft soda, sparkling water, coffee, energy drinks, CBD products, and more. Vendors will range from local operations like Lakefront Brewery, Soul Brew Kombucha, Top Note Tonic, and Great Lakes Distillery to nationally-regarded brands like Athletic Brewing, Lagunitas, Clausthaler, Sierra Nevada, Liquid Death, and many more. A full vendor list will be posted as the event approaches. Tickets cost $20 in advance and $30 at the doors.

BUT THERE’S MORE! Given the encouraging reception the first two Milwaukee installments have enjoyed, we’ve made the bold decision to expand N/A Day into the Madison market in 2024!

On Saturday, January 13, Milwaukee Record will host the first Madison N/A Day: “Dry January” Beverage Festival at The Bur Oak. This debut in Wisconsin’s capital—which is sponsored by Athletic Brewing Company, Clausthaler, Liquid Death, Gruber Law Offices, and Tone Madison—will also give attendees an opportunity to enjoy unlimited samples of more than 50 products from all over the non-alcoholic beverage spectrum.

Vendors will range from local operations like Untitled Art, Mad Maiden Shrub, Rude Brew Kombucha, and Kul Mocks to nationally-regarded brands like Athletic Brewing, Lagunitas, Liquid Death, Clausthaler, and more. The Bur Oak’s basement space will also be open for the event to host regional vendors in the hemp/CBD realm and local organizations like Tone Madison and Communication. Tickets (which are limited to 150 for a noon-2 p.m. block and 150 for a 2-4 p.m. block) cost $20 in advance and $30 at the door.

Whether you’re looking to turn over a new leaf in the new year or you’re just seeking to add some more refreshments to your personal repertoire, Milwaukee Record‘s N/A Day events are sure to be fun and low-risk ways to try some new drinks on for size.
