We’ve published more than 10,000 articles in our nearly 10-year-existence, and one of those articles looms large in our legacy (such that it is). Yes, on July 30, 2015, we published “50 Cent vodka signing at Oak Creek Woodman’s: A minute-by-minute recap.” It detailed our five-hour wait/ordeal to get rapper 50 Cent to, well, sign a bottle of his vodka at the Oak Creek Woodman’s. Here’s proof!

Anyway, this is a long way of saying that on Thursday, October 19, Aquaman and Game Of Thrones star Jason Momoa will be in Wisconsin signing bottles of his own vodka. Momoa will appear at the New Berlin Costco (15300 W. Grange Ave.) from 10-11:30 a.m., and the Brookfield Total Wine & More (17300 W. Bluemound Rd.) from 2:30-4 p.m. And yeah, we’re totally gonna go and write it up. Hopefully there’s a 50 Cent-like scene where everyone in the five-hour line laughs at a garbage can blowing across the parking lot.

Momoa’s vodka brand is Meili Vodka, a “premium spirit handcrafted in Montana” by Momoa and buddy Blaine Halvorson.

“Stop by for your chance to get an exclusive bottle of Meili Vodka signed LIVE by co-founders, Jason Momoa and Blaine Halverson. All events are free to fans 21+,” explains the tour page on the Meili website. The duo’s Midwest vodka tour begins October 16 in Iowa—where Momoa was raised—and wraps up October 20 in Minnesota.

Momoa is no stranger to Wisconsin. A big Harley-Davidson fan, he visited the company’s museum and headquarters during two separate visits in 2019.

Oh, and here’s the time we went on The Morning Blend to talk about the 50 Cent thing:
