It’s still technically autumn and there’s a good chance you’ve already had it with winter in Wisconsin. It’s already snowed a bunch and we’re looking at single-digit temps this weekend. Once winter officially arrives and the holidays are behind us, there’s nothing to do except hunker down and wait for spring’s arrival, right? Wrong. Thankfully, “The City Of Festivals” continues to host festive and fun happenings both inside and outside regardless of what Mother Nature has up her sleeve. And one such winter festival was just announced.

Third Space Brewing‘s Ice Bear Fest returns! From noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, the Menomonee Valley brewery will host “a 1980s après ski dance party” in its beer garden to celebrate its tasty seasonal Baltic porter. In addition to the abundance of Ice Bear on hand, the winter affair will feature an era-specific playlist from Sound By Design until 5 p.m., Mixtape playing live renditions of ’80s covers from 5-7 p.m., food available from Hue and Brew City Snowballs, shotskis, a constume contest at 4 p.m., a vintage ski gear pop-up from Fresh To Death vintage, and various other Third Space brews on-site to help keep you warm.

There’s also special limited edition Ice Bear Fest merchandise available. In fact, you can get your hands on that merch (a scarf and color-changing mug) as part of a VIP package, which also includes $1 off pours all day long. Ice Bear Fest is free to attend…if you’re bold enough to brave the conditions. Save the date for a wintry mix of beer, music, food, and ski-centric fun at Third Space on January 31.
