Last month saw the closing of the last remaining Bakers Square in Wisconsin. The Elm Grove location followed the closing of a Shorewood location in 2016, and locations in Greenfield and West Allis earlier in 2020. SPEAKING OF the West Allis Bakers Square (10200 W. National Ave.), everything not nailed down in the shuttered restaurant is up for auction. No pies, but there’s an empty pie display case! Yep, it’s a Bakers Square auction!
Big-ticket pieces of restaurant equipment like refrigerators, coolers, and ovens are all up for gabs, as are display cabinets, tables and chairs, a lone “FRESH PIES” banner, and much more. (Scroll down for a list of everything.) The online Bakers Square auction is live NOW. It closes Monday, January 18, beginning at 10 a.m.
