There are almost too many Halloween happenings taking place in Milwaukee over this pre-holiday weekend. If by some miracle you’re still in search of the perfect All Hallows’ Eve event to tie together a scary-good night (or you want to extend the fright into next week), Avalon Theater just might have what you’re seeking.

From Friday, October 27 through Wednesday, November 1, the Bay View theater will bring locally-sourced horror to its screen in the form of Wraith, a 2017 horror flick that was filmed in Wisconsin. The film was written and directed by Appleton native Michael Sajbel and shot primarily in the Fox Valley cities of Neenah and Menasha in the spring of 2016.

The Friday screening of the Wisconsin-made supernatural thriller will feature a post-screening Q&A session with Sajbel. Tickets cost $10.50 and show times vary by day.
