In 2015, we said goodbye to the summer with a late September screening of Wet Hot American Summer. The first-ever Milwaukee showing of the cult comedy classic sold out, people dressed up as characters from the film, laughs were had, and drinks were consumed. It was great. Fresh off the release of the Wet Hot American Summer: 10 Years Later Netflix series and with summer fading fast, we figured what the fuck, let’s do it again.

Even if you’ve seen Gene hump a refrigerator or watched McKinley and Ben make out dozens of times before, it’s doubtful you witnessed those moments on the big screen. Though you might know Alan Shemper’s comedy routine by heart and can time the sound of breaking clay pots down to the nanosecond, both are even sweeter in surround sound.
