After what felt like 8,000 years, Milwaukee’s historic (and newly restored) Oriental Theatre reopened on August 20. It’s been great seeing movies on the Oriental’s big screen again; still, something has been missing. Something whose imminent, inevitable return has had us shivering with antici…

Yes, on Saturday, October 9, The Rocky Horror Picture Show will return to the Oriental for a midnight screening. It’s back! Will Milwaukee’s own Sensual Daydreams also be back with a live shadowcast performance? Of course. Will there be pre-film “virgin games” for Rocky newbies, “survival kits” available for purchase (sorry, you won’t be able to bring your own), and other delightful zaniness? You bet. Will you need to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of showtime to get in? Yep! Dammit, Janet, just get vaccinated already.

And yes, going forward, RHPS and Sensual Daydreams will back at the Oriental every second Saturday of the month. Oh, and on October 30 for a special Halloween performance. See the list of shows HERE. Get your tickets HERE.
