Back in 2018, Milwaukee moviegoers were treated to a screening of Dario Argento’s 1977 classic giallo film Suspiria at the Oriental Theatre. But it wasn’t just any screening—it came complete with a live score from Italian progressive rock band Goblin and founding keyboardist Claudio Simonetti, both of whom provided the iconic original score to the film in the first place.

If you missed that event, you’re in luck, because Suspria, Goblin, and Simonetti are set to return to the Oriental on Sunday, October 30. Halloween Eve!

The show is part of a three-month North American tour celebrating the film’s 45th anniversary. (The 2018 remake/reimagining is excellent, too.) In addition to performing the live Suspiria score, Simonetti and company (Daniele Amador, Cecilia Nappo, Federico Maragoni) will return after the film to play a set of classic Goblin tracks set to clips of their cinematic counterparts. Simonetti’s other horror soundtrack work includes music from Dawn Of The Dead, Demons, Deep Red, and Tenebre.

Tickets to the 8 p.m. screening/concert are $50, and are on sale via the Oriental NOW. Add-on VIP tickets are available through a third-party vendor. Those will get you a signed Goblin poster, a Goblin t-shirt, a Goblin laminate, a Goblin pin, early entry, and a meet-and-greet with Simonetti and the band. Those tickets (which don’t include show tickets) are $125. They’re on sale NOW.
