Last night, RuPaul’s Drag Race announced the 13 competitors who will be featured on the ninth season of the Emmy-winning Logo network series. While most of the contestants composing the bakers dozen hail from vibrant drag mainstays like New York, Chicago, London, and Los Angeles, one queen competing this year is from Milwaukee.

Self-proclaimed “actress, artist and Rebel Wilson impersonator” Jaymes Mansfield celebrated her selection at a “RuVeal Party” at DIX Thursday night. The 26-year-old—who claims to come from “the Antarctic prison known as Milwaukee, Wisconsin”—established herself through her popular YouTube channel and performances at DIX, La Cage, and various other Midwest stages.

Mansfield isn’t the first Milwaukee-based competitor in Drag Race herstory. Trixie Mattel finished sixth in the internationally-renown series’ seventh season. Mattel has since gone on to achieve drag superstardom, and appear on the season finale of FX’s American Horror Story: Roanoke last year.

Good luck, Jaymes. Your fellow Antarctic inmates are pulling for you.
