Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we—with generous sponsorship from Skilos, A Family Pet Store—plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: Diamond Rose, a tiny tuxie with a huge heart.
Meet Diamond Rose. Diamond Rose is a super petite little tuxie with the sweetest stare. She may be shy at first (she was rescued all alone outdoors), but patience and kindness reveal a playful, spunky sweetheart who purrs nonstop once you win her trust.
She’s got the cutest habit of tilting her head upside down to look at you with her big curious eyes. Toss her a toy, and she’ll happily chase it for hours, letting you know how happy she is with her soft little meow. She adores head and ear scritches and never passes up an opportunity to lean in for a few.

Because she’s on the shy side, Diamond Rose would do best in a quiet home with patient adults who can give her time to settle in. She absolutely adores other cats and would blossom with a friendly resident feline to show her the ropes. Once she feels safe, you’ll find she’s one of the sweetest and spunkiest kittens you could ever hope to meet. Tiny in size, huge in heart…Diamond Rose is ready to shine in her forever home!
