Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: a friendly gal named Chai.

Meet Chai. She’s a cute mini panther with a beautiful, soft silky coat. But there is so much more to her than just her good looks! She’s athletic, curious, affectionate, and friendly. Her foster mom says she is very playful. Chasing and wrestling other cats, and batting toys around are some of her favorite activities.

She follows her foster mom around the house purring for attention. She really enjoys being loved on. The kids in her foster home are her best friends. Chai loves being picked up and carried around. She purrs so loud while being held.

Her perfect adoptive home will have:

– People with love to give
– Lots of activity
– Another cat or kitten friend to keep her company
