Even though folks all over the greater Milwaukee area are eager to partake in celebrating Halloween once October r0lls around, it’s safe to say no other neighborhood goes all out for “Spooky Season” quite like Bay View. It’s basically mandatory behavior there. Beyond residents who completely transform their homes, augment their yards in terrifying ways, and hand out hundreds of pounds of candy on account of the holiday, thousands of Halloweeners also congregate in Bay View every October to partake in the Pumpkin Pavilion.
The annual event, which is organized and produced by the Bay View Neighborhood Association, offers four days and nights of fun for all ages. This year is no different, as Humboldt Park will once again play host to pumpkin carving, live music, food trucks, a beer garden, a magic show, a 3K “pumpkin run,” and much more between Wednesday, October 21 and Saturday, October 24. People are also encouraged to pitch in by volunteering to help out at this community event in a variety of ways.
Come to see a display of 1,000 carved and illuminated pumpkins, stay for free performances from the likes of Long Line Riders and Bitch Creek, and check out the full 2026 Pumpkin Pavilion schedule below. It’s going to be a scary good time.
