Even though summer’s days are numbered, Milwaukee has no plans to stop the festival fun anytime soon. A bunch of large-scale autumn undertakings await, and one of the best among them just announced its lineup. The 9th annual Beet Street Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday, October 5.

The Bay View block party—hosted by Cactus Club, Palomino, and Goodkind—is set to bring about a day of live music, local food and retail vendors, community organizations, and pie-based competition to a parcel of Wentworth and Potter avenues outside the aforementioned businesses. The family-friendly event will run from 1-7 p.m., with an 18+ after party to take place at Cactus Club once Beet Street concludes.

Cactus Club just released the music lineup, which features an eclectic blend of lauded local acts and notable out-of-town artists. Here’s the full lineup (listed from headliner to opener):

DJs Cozmiika & Power Circle will play music between bands

WMSE DJs will spin records inside Cactus Club’s bar section all afternoon, and the Cactus Club Video Series will feature mini-docs and music videos screening in their live room throughout the day. What else? Let’s see! There will be a photo booth, midday line dancing lesson from the stage, and an 18+ after party inside Cactus from 8 p.m. to close with details TBA.

Food/Drink

In terms of food, Palomino will be hosting its Great American Pie Championship. Outside, Goodkind will be serving up “Harvest Chili” (both meat and vegetarian options), Palomino will have sweet treats on hand at its “Snack Stand,” and food vendors like Frida’s Cocina Taco Truck, Xankia, and Twisted Plants will round out the dining options. All bars will be serving up seasonal cocktails and other drinks. And there will be a bar cart with drinks (including a selection of N/A options) on hand as well. Cactus Club will also have apple cider to fit the occasion.
