Every Wednesday at noon, Ryan Schleicher, Evan Rytlewski, and Matt Wild take to the WMSE airwaves to discuss all things Milwaukee. This half-hour fun-fest is called The Disclaimer, so named because none of the oft-ridiculous views expressed on the show necessarily reflect the views of the hosts’ employers. Milwaukee music, Milwaukee art, Milwaukee events, and D.I.Y. lawn care tips are frequently discussed—and rarely agreed upon. The Disclaimer: Talk radio for the sane.

Back from a month-long respite, The Disclaimer crew returns to the WMSE airwaves with a host of especially Disclaimer-y topics. First up, the recent sale (again) of the Shops of Grand Avenue. Will the new owners finally breathe life into the eternally wheezing downtown mall, and, more importantly, will they be able to replace the recently departed Culver’s so Matt can get a bite to eat after the show? Next, Matt updates the group on that ridiculous Shorewood sculpture “controversy,” and Evan shakes his head at a recent Jonathan Lucroy interview where the veteran Brewers catcher practically begs to be traded. Finally, Ryan gets a good feeling from all the homegrown benefit shows popping up in Milwaukee these days (including Milwaukee Record‘s own Local Coverage). We’re making history. This is important.
