In case you missed the news, Milwaukee Record and Busby’s have joined forces on organizing a new springtime celebration that will bring big time fun to one of Milwaukee’s smallest parks. On Saturday, May 24, the inaugural “Morgan Park Picnic” will take place atyou guessed it!Morgan Park on the southern edge of the Bay View and Fernwood neighborhoods.

From noon to 6 p.m., the park will play host to a family-friendly festival that will offer a winning mix of live entertainment, local food trucks, Wisconsin craft beer (and other refreshments), and area retailers set up in and around the underutilized triangle park. After a Punk Rock Yoga class from Healium to start the event, the stage will host Scam Likely, El Sebas, and headliner Ladybird. Flour Girl & Flame, Pallino Burger, Not Bad Food, and Trouble Makers Cocina will be serving up food on-site. Third Space Brewing will have a bunch of beers available on draft and in cans (in addition to N/A offerings from Sprecher and Liquid Death).

Today we’re proud to announce the Morgan Park Picnic vendor list. The entire stretch of Pennsylvania Ave. between Kinnickinnic Ave. and Holt Ave. will be shut down and will host approximately 30 local retailers, area artists, and wonderful Milwaukee organizations. As you make arrangements to join us on May 24, check out the full Morgan Park Picnic vendor list below.
