Following a three-year absence, Bay View Neighborhood Association and Rushmor Records’ Pumpkin Pavilion celebration will return to Humboldt Park on Friday, October 21 and Saturday, October 22 (plus carving events October 19-20). The family-friendly event is made possible by a variety of volunteers and funds raised thorough various pre-Pavilion community events. One such event takes place tonight, and a lucky person in attendance will take home an amazing Milwaukee-centric Halloween decoration.

From 6-10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, Club Garibaldi will host a Pumpkin Pavilion Trivia Fundraiser. Though registration for that event appears to be full, there will simultaneously be a live auction happening at Club Garibaldi, where you can bid on a life-size “Milverine Zombie” and other items. The Milverine Zombie was created by local artist Matt Bauer (with the local legend’s permission). In addition to this one-of-a-kind creation, those in attendance can place bids on great items like a “Night Out In Bay View” package, an evening sailing adventure, a Door County getaway, a beer basket, and much more.

If your yard (or your bedroom…we won’t tell!) is in desperate need of an undead artistic nod to an iconic point of Milwaukee pride, make your way to Club G this evening and place your bid. Good luck!
