Saturday, June 17 is one of those wildly busy days that seem to be happening a lot in Milwaukee where, like, 700 great things are all going on at the same time. In addition to things like Lakefront Festival Of Art, Summer Soulstice, Milwaukee Taco Fest, Wisconsin Beer Lovers Festival, Milwaukee Hardcore Summer Jam, Ayre In The Square, Kind Oasis’ Anniversary Block Party, and a Rave show featuring Circle Jerks and Descendents is a free outdoor event with art-focused fun for folks of all ages.

From noon to 4 p.m., the Brady Street Art Walk will feature live art and activities for kids on the sidewalks of the vibrant East Side street. Grove Gallery owner Brett Waterhouse has assembled an eclectic and impressive cast of close to 30 artists for this one-day experience, including painters, blacksmiths, sculptors, jewelry makers, leather makers, potters, and ceramic specialists who will be creating new works live and in front of onlookers. You can expect to see these artists doing their thing on Brady Street.
