While Milwaukee remains on pins and needles as to the future name of Miller Park (Dear AmFam: Do the right thing and name it after Uecker), it’s useful to go back to a time when Miller Park wasn’t even a thing. Well, it was a thing—a towering new (and not-yet-opened) thing that loomed over the outfield of an old thing, Milwaukee County Stadium.

In a remarkable new YouTube video, a former County Stadium/Miller Park grounds crew member (“Major Air”) takes his family on an extensive behind-the-scenes tour of the soon-to-be-demolished County Stadium. The date of the tour: September 16, 2000—less than two weeks before County Stadium’s final game on September 28. Enjoy. And think spring. [via Reddit]
