We have a winner! Following a nearly month-long competition that found a field of 64 songs about the Green Bay Packers—which were carefully selected and categorized by Milwaukee Record contributor and Packers novelty music authority Jared Blohm—facing one another in six heated rounds of voting, one Cheesehead’s composition can officially be considered the planet’s premier Pack track. Congratulations to The Rob Rasch Trio, whose “O Ya O Ya Hey Green Bay Packers Polka” has won our Packers Song Bracket.

On the way to taking the title, this “lighthearted polka celebrating the Green Bay Packers fans” and Lambeau Field’s tailgating tradition topped other football-focused songs by The Millionaires, Eleanor Nelson, Eddy J. Lemberger, C.W.A., and even Lil Wayne. In this week’s Finals matchup against Dr. Duke Tumatoe, “O Ya O Ya Hey” garnered close to 1,000 votes to claim a commanding victory. Congrats to Rob Rasch and co. for winning it all.

Thanks to all who voted, shared the bracket, and took any interest whatsoever in this bit of super niche musical randomness. Be sure to blast this now-AWARD-WINNING song before tonight’s game. The join us for games at Cactus Club all season long. GO PACK GO!
