So it’s all come down to this. Following a three-week competition that found a field of 64 songs about the Green Bay Packers facing one another in five heated rounds of voting, our Packers Song Bracket field has dwindled to just two remaining Cheesehead compositions. Over the course of the tournament, thousands upon thousands of votes were cast. There was some campaigning for votes, a fair number of upsets, and actually not that much whining in the comments section for a change.
Now that the dust has settled, we’re now left with a Final Round matchup very few could have envisioned at the beginning of the competition: Dr. Duke Tumatoe’s “Brett Favre Is An Alien” and “O Ya O Ya Hey Green Bay Packers Polka” by The Rob Rasch Trio. The Finals run Wednesday, September 4 (that’s today!) through 11:59 p.m. CST on Thursday, September 5. The Final Round of Milwaukee Record’s Packers Song Bracket can be found below.
